The Lying Dragon mountain in Ninh Binh, Vietnam, has been attracting visitors for decades, and not just because it's an impressive undulating stone sculpture. The dragon actually sits atop of a large mountain, and those who take on the climb will be treated to some pretty spectacular views of the Tam Coc region. The dragon statue extends over some rocks above the main viewing platform, near an altar to the Goddess of Mercy. The Lying Dragon mountain is quite a popular spot, and often included in wider tours of the region. In fact, it's about a two-hour drive from Hanoi, and is often included as a stop on tours of Tam Coc.
