Finally, a film about teenage sexuality and its inherent fluidity that has something authentic and intelligent to say. After best friends Franky (Josh Wiggins) and Ballas (Darren Mann) have a drunken late-night sexual encounter, Ballas turns on him, leaving Franky to deal with the consequences. There are some great performances, especially Wiggins as Franky. It’s a winning performance that honestly reflects the complex inner turmoil of a teenager. (Maria Bello plays Franky’s mother, Kyle MacLachlan his father.)
