Below is a copy of the statementAs the 2018 referendum on the creation of six new regions comes off on Thursday, 27th December, the National Commission for Civic Education, NCCE, urges all eligible voters within participating districts to go out in their numbers to vote. Voting in a referendum is a civic duty and it behoves all the patriotic citizens in these districts to join the queues at voting centres to exercise their franchise. The NCCE's district offices where the referendum will take place have been engaging citizens there on the relevance of the referendum and processes involved in the entire exercise. We are one people and Ghana must win at the end of the referendum.
