He also admonished Christians to be chaste and live godly lifestyles to serve as an example for others to emulate. To him, Christmas is not about having pre-marital sex, drinking, and indulging in other habits that the bible frowns upon but an opportunity to celebrate Christ for his sacrifice. The man of God cautioned Christians to always to be alert and keep up their faith and keep hope alive that there is judgement after death. He used the opportunity to also appeal to Christians to show the poor and the needy love by donating to them so they can also enjoy the Christmas.
