According to Mr. Biney, the NIA is not permitted to register Ghanaians on Sundays unless explicit permission has been granted by the Board. As far as the NDC is concerned, however, the NIA Board has not given any such permit. “We will go to court and ask the court to annul all those who registered on Sunday because it is illegal. If they claim they had the permission to do so, we will ask the court to compel them to produce the permit.”Meanwhile, the NIA has denied claims that it has run out registration forms.
