The Paralympian is billed to compete in the T54 category of the 100m, 400m and the 800m events. Speaking to the Daily Graphic from his US base, Nkegbe said he was in fine form after spending more than two weeks in the US to acclimatize with intensive training. God-willing I am going to qualify for the World Championship in Dubai this November and also the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games," he stated. Botsyo expressed appreciation to Wire Weaving Industry, National Sports Authority, Shooting Federation, Indian Women’s Association of Ghana and some individuals who supported him to make the trip and compete in the qualifiers.
