Mahama Ayariga said the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda by President Akufo-Addo has a valid point but the monies given by these Western countries are proceeds from exploitation and colonialism and we need to take them. According to Mahama Ayariga, if we pursue this agenda, it means we will be leaving the developed countries to spend the proceeds of colonialism alone. Explaining the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda by government Deputy Minister of Information said the agenda falls under four pillars consisting the revenue pillar, expenditure pillar, finance pillar and the alternative usage pillar. He stated that all these pillars have planned programmes to help achieve the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda.
