On the day set aside to honour Ghana, the Ghanaian stand was visited by the Chinese Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Mr Han Changfu and later by his Vice Dr Qu. The organisers of the Expo confirmed Ghana’s stand as, by far the most popular. Dr Owusu Akoto Afriyie is in China with a 20-member delegation from Ghana to promote Ghanaian chocolate and other cocoa products to Chinese consumers. The delegation includes a strong contingent from Cocoa Processing Company, Ghana Cocobod, private cocoa processor Plotte Limited from Takoradi, Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Ministry of Trade and others.
