The 28-year-old was one of five changes Phil Neville made from the victory against France in the opening match of the tournament, as she replaced Jodie Taylor up front for the Lionesses. After France held the USA to a 1-1 draw earlier in the day, England went into the match knowing a win would put them in pole position to walk away with the title. But, less than 60 seconds later White (18) drew England level as Fara Williams' effort from outside the box deflected in off her England teammate. A win on Thursday against the USA will see Neville's side clinch the trophy in his first tournament in charge of the national side.
