Bayern are 20 points ahead of Schalke at the top of the table and within sight of a sixth straight Bundesliga title. In the day's early game, Mario Gomez scored twice in first-half stoppage time as Stuttgart came from behind to beat struggling Cologne 3-2. Andreas Beck extended Stuttgart's lead on 57 minutes and a late free-kick from Milos Jojic was little consolation for the Bundesliga's bottom side.
