As a rule, “trailer reaction videos” are among the silliest/dumbest things on the Internet. As regular readers know, my wife has generally terrible taste in movies (Batman & Robin > The Dark Knight) and she has a jones for disaster porn. I don’t just mean Volcano or Earthquake, I mean she has seen every episode of Seconds From Disaster or Air Emergency. And as much as I tease my wife for her love of this kind of thing, it does give me an alibi to indulge. So anything that makes Geostorm a more expensive and thus riskier proposition is, well, a risk.
