The cover, which was launched over the weekend, will now have insurance clients only pay car premiums but in return get life cover benefits at the value of the insured vehicle. The firm’s managing director, Ben Njoroge, reckons the one of a kind cover will help improve the rate of insurance uptake in the country. “This is a motor policy with the extension of a life cover, meaning our clients who take motor vehicle covers will automatically get life covers, at the value of the insured vehicle,” Mr Ndegwa said. The cover, according to Mr Ndegwa, will not be limited to death related to an accident with the insured vehicle but also other causes including illness.
