Garage Project has created Ghost Light, a beer perfect for drinking in the theatre, with a portion of the profits going to help struggling theatres around New Zealand and Australia. As theatres in New Zealand are still doing it hard among Covid-19 restrictions and cancellations, Wellington brewery Garage Project was determined to help. Their latest creation, Ghost Light beer, went on sale yesterday, with $1 from each beer sold going to theatres around New Zealand and Australia. According to Garage Project head brewer and co-founder Pete Gillespie, it was designed to be the perfect beer to drink during a live performance. The beer is available online through the Garage Project webstore as long as stock lasts, with a portion sent out to venues in kegs to buy in theatres.
