KUALA LUMPUR: A report lodged by a Bangladeshi woman who claimed she was gang-raped turned out to be false. Police are now trying to establish why the woman lied in her report where she claimed she was kidnapped and raped by five Myanmar men. “Investigations will be carried out to ascertain why she lodged the false report,” he said. She was thereafter taken to another house wher she claimed five Myanmar men took turns raping her until she fell unconscious. Police in their probe detained four men for investigations into the report but all have been released.
