KUALA LUMPUR: The Superbikers Association of Malaysia (Sam) is collaborating with the Tourism and Culture Ministry and foreign tour agents to develop tourism products and packages for bikers. He said while such biker tourist packages and products are common overseas, they are fairly new ideas in Malaysia. He said that Sam is focused on developing Kuala Lumpur city packages, but that the association would consider extending their offerings to other states, based on request. Meanwhile, Sam is selling special vehicle number plates of SAM 1 to SAM 9999 for RM310 onwards through its official website, www.samplate.my, until Nov 30. The plates will be sold via open tender and used for corporate social responsibility projects under Sam.
