Four men between the ages of 23 and 35 have now been charged and remanded with kidnap of the man who has since been found, while two others have been charged in relation to the kidnapping. A spokesperson for the force said: "Six men have been charged in relation to a kidnap that occurred in Tameside on Wednesday 24 January 2024 where a man was assaulted and forced into a car on Chester Avenue in Dukinfield. Laferty was due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court yesterday. Two females, aged 18 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to kidnap and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
