A gang of cable thieves, which targeted the newly inaugurated Magenta Line of the Delhi Metro to steal power cables, was busted on Wednesday. According to the police, the accused have been identified as Dilshad (22), Ali Hasan (23), Imran (27) and Saddam (24). Dilshad and Hasan were former labourers of a project under the Delhi Metro. "Following secret information, Dilshad, Hasan and Saddam were arrested from near the Kalindi Kunj depot. Since they worked during the construction of the Magenta Line, they all were aware how to decamp with the cable wires.
