Mumbai police registered a case against two men for allegedly leaking episode 64 of popular television series Game of Thrones last week. Police said they were acting on a complaint by a private company, for which the men work. Soon after, the firm initiated an internal inquiry and said it had found two of its employees guilty of the crime. The company gave the MIDC police station in Andheri (East) a written complaint and also approached the cyber cell last week. A case was filed under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act for criminal breach of trust and computer-related offences.
