MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Archie Gamboa on Tuesday ended his 14-day quarantine after possible exposure to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Gamboa went through quarantine in Camp Crame in Quezon City. ADVERTISEMENT“I am on the 14th day of self-quarantine upon doctors’ advice due to my possible exposure to COVID-19 that effectively ends today,” he said in his live address. Gen. Bernard Banac announced that Gamboa tested negative for COVID-19 and is “on duty, up, and running the entire affairs of the PNP amid the enhanced community quarantine.”Banac said Gamboa did not show any symptoms of the disease as he continued with his self-quarantine after receiving his test result. Banac said Gamboa had no recent meeting with the Interior Chief at that time.
