Speaking at a rally held to celebrate the first anniversary of SJB yesterday, he said a number of natural resources have been destroyed due to deforestation. “This could make a large impact on the future generations of the country. When the government was elected, it boasted of a ‘Green Movement’, but now it has come to a point where deforestation has been allowed by the government,” he said.
