The Galaxy S10 will be very expensive, but the all-new design, ultrasonic reader, boosted performance and daring colours suggest Samsung's 10th-anniversary smartphone will be worth it. For starters, the Galaxy S10 Beyond X will be the first 5G Samsung phone (something AT&T and Verizon have teased) and possibly the only Galaxy S10 model with 5G. It will also be the first Samsung phone to sport a 6.7-inch display and the first Samsung phone to use ToF sensors to the front and back. Given Samsung was expected to ditch facial recognition with the Galaxy S10 range, it now seems the company is actually doubling down on it instead. In fact, the only downside is the Beyond X is expected to launch significantly after the Galaxy S10 release date pegged for the rest of the range.
