Gadon, a lawyer, said the commemoration of the People Power revolt merely serves as a propaganda activity aimed at perpetuating the memory of “fake heroes” who started the ‘yellow’ movement in the country. In this dark times, the Edsa people power, the collective effort that toppled the dictator Marcos (remains) continuously significant to this date,” said Casilao. According to Gadon the popuolar revolt should be seen as a power grab initiated by supporters of the late President Corazon C. Aquino.
