A senior BJP leader defended the party, but he seemed to be on thin ground. Notwithstanding all the action, the Congress is yet to find a Gabbar Singh or a Thakur for Gujarat. The BJP is instilling an army-like regimentation in its ranks, training booth soldiers, having its tallest leader (Modi) address workers, etc.
