The government has deployed more than 300 GSU officers to help restore peace among clashing communities along the Nandi-Kisumu border. Elders are also engaged in dialogue to help restore peace along the border, where two people were killed and 10 houses torched last week. Nandi Governor Cleophas Lagat and Senator Stephen Sang said they will dialogue as leaders to help restore peace among the communities.
