The government has started the process of providing refunds to exporters for the month of August and September. GST Network CEO Prakash Kumar on Monday said that the GST portal will soon launch an online application for processing exporters’ refunds for Integrated GST (IGST) paid by them for August and September. He also mentioned that a separate mobile app for the same will also be launched this week. "A separate online app for claiming Integrated GST (IGST) refunds for August and September would be made available on GSTN portal this week," he said. The GST Council announced six-month tax relief for exporters.
