more-inGodavari Gas Private Limited (GGPL), a joint venture of the Andhra Pradesh Gas Distribution Corporation and the Gas Authority of India Limited, is all set to supply piped natural gas to the households in urban areas and rural pockets of the East and West Godavari districts. The firm, however, is not going to touch the market in and around Kakinada, where the Bhagyanagar Gas Limited is extending the PNG connections. Mr. Chadha said that the GGPL was established in 2016 and was on the job preparing the groundwork for developing the PNG network in East and West Godavari districts. “We have identified 32 contractors in 17 urban areas of both the districts. In all, the company would establish 26 CNG stations in both the districts.
