The budget presented($12 million)is even more than the annual budget of the sports ministry." The Ghana FA has been in hot discussions with the government about providing the needed funds to help run the various leagues. The Ghana Premier League season was truncated during the 2018/2019 season after an alleged corruption expose by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
