GDB 53.0: Oilers need to show signs of life against the Capitals (8PM MT, CBC)The Edmonton Oilers are a couple of days removed from an embarrassing beatdown by the Penguins , and tonight’s game feels like it should come with a bit of a lecture. The Oilers dropped their last two games in horrific fashion, not because they were unlucky, but because they didn’t look particularly interested in playing winning hockey. Special teams are still an area where the Oilers should feel confident, assuming the boys actually show up ready to work.
