From the local First Nation to the climbing community, people want the suspended Volkswagen Beetle removed from the cliff above Darrell Bay. The Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) said in an email statement that the car is located on a sacred site within the nation's territory. There is a long history of undergraduate engineering students at the school pulling similar pranks. Jesse Godlington, a Squamish climbing guide, says The Papoose is known for having several high quality rock climbing routes. “The cliff is not a place for pranks.”An image taken shows the cord that is suspending the car to the rock face.
