G-24 Nations Meeting in Ethiopia This WeekFebruary 27, 2017 - The first Technical Group Meeting (TGM) of the Intergovernmental Group of Twenty Four (G-24) opened here today, according to FBC. The G-24 is composed of 24 countries from Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean countries. He also noted that developing countries are facing new challenges arising from the persistence of fragile economy. Ethiopia is a founder of the group and was selected to chair the group for one year as of February 2017. Group of Twenty Four, where developing countries come to a common stance on global monetary, financial and developmental affairs, was established by 24 countries in 1971.
