Today is the second day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's three-day Italy and UK tour to participate in the G-20 Summit. On the second day of his visit, PM Modi held a meeting with Pope Francis which went on for an hour after which he left the Vatican City. Earlier, PM Modi arrived at the Vatican City to hold a one-on-one meeting with Pope Francis. During his Vatican City visit, he was accompanied by NSA Ajit Doval and External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar. Narendra Modi is the fifth Indian Prime Minister to have visited the head of Roman Catholics, the largest religious denomination in the world.
