The theme for this year’s summit is the ‘Common Good’. Our actions in respect of achieving a common good has been instinctive- Ingrained by custom, tradition and centuries of socialization. The formation of regional, continental and global bodies has helped to galvanise us around common causes, for the common good. Fear is a basic human instinct and motivates us to act in ways that may not be conducive to the common good.
