Fugitive fraudster who fled to Dubai puts UK £700,000 luxury six-bed home up for rent

AdvertisementA British fugitive who avoided 10 years in jail by fleeing to Dubai has put his luxury home up for rent. Zahid Khan, 31, left his home in Moseley, Birmingham after being convicted of fraud for running a £500,000 number plate scam. The £700,000 gated mansion on Yardley Wood Road has six bedrooms, three bathrooms, a heated swimming pool and its own cinema. Khan flew 3,500 miles to Dubai last summer after skipping the country before his fraud trial came to an end. He was jailed for ten years in his absence after being found guilty of conspiracy to defraud over a £500,000 number plate fraud.
