Fuel prices higher by one sen for last week of October - Nation

PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices are slightly higher across the board for the last week of October, with a one sen increase in the prices of RON95 and RON 97. Additionally, the price of diesel went up by one sen from RM2.10 per litre previously to RM2.11 per litre. The new prices will come into effect from Thursday (October 19) until October 25. The prices were announced by the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry (KPDNKK)’s twitter on Wednesday evening. The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect in April this year and the prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
