Dr. Mohamed Lachemi, president and vice-chancellor of Ryerson University, took office as the new president in April, overseeing 42,000 students, 866 full-time faculty and 1,700 administrative staff. This fall, it culminated in the top job at Ryerson University, where he was officially installed as the school’s ninth president after 18 years at the school. “His heart and soul is in Ryerson.” The next 18 “I consider myself a global citizen,” says Lachemi.
