Strong winds, heavy rain and wet snow have left thousands of Quebecers in the dark this morning. By 3 p.m., nearly 20,000 Hydro-Québec clients were still without power, most of them in the Montérégie. Hydro-Québec says it has 140 crews working to restore electricity to its clients. The region southeast of Montreal has 26,000 outages, the bulk of which are in the Brome-Missisquoi regional county municipality. Earlier Sunday there were nearly 50,000 clients without power.
