The French ambassador to Libya, Thierry Vallat, has met the African Union’s special representative to Libya, Wahida Ayari, to discuss the latest political developments in the country. According to a statement posted by the French embassy on Facebook, the talks focused on efforts to strengthen Libya’s unity, stability and sovereignty. Both sides also discussed ways to support the political process and advance peace and sustainable development in the country.
