According to police and local sources, a foul smell was coming from inside a toilet on the second floor of the complex. When police recovered the body, a bottle of poison was found beside it. Sunamganj Deputy Commissioner, Md Abdul Ahad, and Superintendent of Police, Md Barkat Ullah Khan, visited the scene and the body was sent to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
