Bangladesh Study Trust arranged the program marking the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s, 99th birth anniversary. “Hospitals in Christchurch have not disclosed the exact number of Bangladeshi deaths. The foreign minister said they have calculated how much financial support it might take to bring back the bodies from New Zealand and the government will provide all the necessary support. State Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr Murad Hasan, spoke at the seminar as a special guest and former ambassador, AKM Atiqur Rahman, presented the keynote paper.
