Francie Diver - a reluctant recipientJo McKenzie-McLean Francie Diver, of Alexandra, will receive a Queen's Service Medal for services to the community. Community stalwart Francie Diver is a reluctant New Year's Honours recipient. In fact Diver, who received a Queen's Service Medal for services to the community, just about turned it down. She is a deputy community member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal and member of the Otago Conservation Board. A big accomplishment had been improving Māori health services in the community and building a whare at Dunstan High School.
