"It is with a collective heavy heart that the Town of Wasaga Beach comments on two altercations that took place in Wasaga Beach over the Victoria Day weekend," the release states. An 18-year-old Bolton man who died after being stabbed at Wasaga Beach on Saturday night has been identified as Francesco Molinaro. Friends as well as a cousin of Molinaro, known to many as "Che," confirmed he was the victim of the stabbing, which took place near a pizza restaurant on Mosley Street. Molinaro wanted to make the trip anyway, Slammini told CBC News. But on Saturday morning, Slammini and her other friends phoned Molinaro to cancel, saying that the trip looked like it would be too expensive for them.
