​Scores of passengers in the bus that was destined for Western Kenya from Mombasa escaped unscathed after the driver lost control before the bus landed into a ditch. Police and members of the public had a hard time consoling the father to the minor following the morning accident. According to a witness Samson Kuria, the father had crossed the road leaving the minor behind when the latter decided to join him.
