Seven people, including four policemen, have been killed in an attack at Noakhali’s Sonaimuri Police Station. Bakhtiar Uddin, the chief of Sonaimuri Police Station, was also shot five times. However, around 5:30pm some attackers began to throw bricks and stones at the Sonaimuri Police Station. A person was shot dead when police fired their guns from inside the police station. Almost every room inside the police station was vandalised and set ablaze.
