JOHOR BARU: Police have released on bail the four men arrested for being involved in an altercation outside a surau in Austin Perdana here. Johor police chief Comm Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd (pix) said the men were released on police bail after about three hours of questioning and their statements recorded. The four suspects, aged between 21 and 55 years old from Johor and Sarawak, were arrested at 1am on Saturday. It was reported that the four men were arrested in front of the surau in Jalan Austin Perdana where the altercation took place at about 1.30pm on Friday. After the prayers, a group of men emerged from the surau to confront the driver.
