KLANG (Bernama): Four friends were charged at the Klang Magistrate's Court here with the murder of a transgender woman in front of a hotel here almost two weeks ago. The men, Low Shi Haur, 21, Tan Khim Siang, 19, and two youths aged 16 and 17 nodded to indicate they understood the charge. The accused were charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code. It was reported earlier that a transgender woman from Sabah was seriously injured after being beaten with a blunt object outside the hotel. Following the case, police detained four suspects, aged 16 to 21, to help in the investigations.
