Four people have died after falling from the roof of a running train on Dhaka- Dinajpur route near Raninagar station of Naogaon district. The deceased are Jahangir Alam, 22, of Dinajpur, Aminul Islam, 29, of Naogaon, Apel Mahmud, 25, of Panchagarh, and Monir, 22, of Dinajpur. Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge of Shantahar GRP station Akbar Hossain told the Dhaka Tribune: “The passengers fell off the roof of Drutojan Express. “On information, we went to the spot and sent to the bodies to Naogaon Sadar Hospital for autopsy. The injured have also been sent to the hospital.”
