The members of VX group carried out the attack on the loyalists of Epitaph group at the university station around 9:30pm on Friday, witnesses said. Hathazari Police Station OC Belal Uddin Jahangir said the four injured students were being treated at the university's medical centre. The four injured students are Mayeen Bhuiyan Rijon of environmental science department, and Lutfor Rahman Raihan, Mehedy Hasan and Shahadat Hossain of forestry department. VX group leader Mizanur Rahman told bdnews24.com: "There has been a misunderstanding with the juniors of Epitaph group. It will be settled tomorrow (Saturday)."
