On January 8, a 19-year-old named Billal Hossain was shot dead near the Satnol Bridge in Manirampur. On January 2, an unidentified dead body was found in a field in Manirampur. On February 12, Babar Ali, a 40-year-old, was found shot dead in Kanagate in Jessore’s Rahmatpur. Police found 2kg of marijuana, a locally-assembled gun, and a bullet.
