Fort McMurray remembers 'Unbreakable Bo,' firefighter who died of leukemia


Hundreds are expected to gather for a memorial service to honour fallen Fort McMurray fire fighter Bo Cooper. Known as "Unbreakable Bo," Cooper died on Nov. 6th after a long and agonizing battle with three leukemia diagnoses. In weeks, donors raised the $880,000 needed that allowed Cooper to travel to the the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. The memorial service is expected to start with a parade at 1 p.m. led by the Fort McMurray Fire Department. The service at Shell Place should start at 2 p.m., which will be followed by a reception.
