Tuko reports that police arrested Richard Alden on the night of Saturday, June 4, after he allegedly shot dead a woman at his Karen home in Nairobi. “Richard Alden shot the woman he was having an affair with dead after a disagreement,” the website quoted blogger Robert Alai on Sunday, June 5. Before the appointment, Richard Alden served as the group’s chief operating officer. Richard Alden is a former CEO of Wananchi Group, the firm that operates pay TV/fiber internet provider Zuku after he was appointed in November 2013. Also according to the paper, Nairobi County Police Commander Japheth Koome said that 63-year-old Richard Alden will be charged with murder once investigations are complete.
